CCTV images released in connection with a reported robbery in Sheffield

Officers investigating a reported robbery at a newsagents in Sheffield, have released a CCTV images of a man they believe will be able to assist with their investigation. 

On Saturday 11 March, it was reported two men had entered L&C Bedford News on Galsworthy Road, Sheffield, just after 9.50pm. One of the men, who was reportedly armed with a gun, threatened a member of staff and made demands for cash before making off.

No one was hurt during the incident but a quantity of cash and alcohol were taken.

DC Lindsey Fishwick, who is investigating the incident, said: “As part of an extensive investigation we have so far explored a number of lines of enquiry and are now appealing to find this man as we believe he could hold vital information.

“Although no one was hurt in the incident this has been extremely traumatic for the victim and anyone who may have any information is asked to contact police.”
