What does your community want for Christmas?

The countdown to the festive season is now well and truly on and the message from Rotherham South neighbourhood policing team is “tell us what your community wants for Christmas”.

The team, which covers Maltby, Dinnington and surrounding areas, sadly won’t be delivering toys but they will be out and about listening to your views on local policing.

Rotherham South Inspector Caroline Bakewell said: “Listening to the views of the community is vital in our fight against crime and we want to hear from you.

“Throughout this week we will be increasing night-time patrols in the Wickersley area following on from concerns raised by you about anti-social behaviour.

“We are also continuing our operations around tackling the problem of ‘boy racers’ in the Dinnington area as a result of intelligence from local residents.

“If there is something in your area that is concerning you, we need to know so please do get in touch.”
