Partnership Award

Building safer and stronger communities involves more than just the police service. It takes the hard work of everyone from the public sector to criminal justice agencies and the community. Over recent years partnership work has become central to the work of police forces, local authorities, partner agencies and communities throughout the country.
South Yorkshire Police are dedicated to recognising the ongoing work to improve quality of service and our commitment to communities. As a result the launch of the South Yorkshire Partnership Award took place on Monday 17 November 2008 at Niagara Sports and Social Club where individuals from SYP and its partner agencies were invited. At the event it was detailed that this award will give recognition to teams of people who have come together in collaboration to meet the needs of South Yorkshire.
Agencies from each of the four districts have come together to develop this award and are committed to establishing a ‘True’ South Yorkshire Partnership Award.
