Police appeal for further witnesses to fatal Sheffield collision

Officers investigating a fatal collision in the Halfway area of Sheffield at the beginning of July, are appealing for any witnesses who may have been at the scene to please contact them. 
 
Members of the public provided vital first aid assistance at the scene of the collision prior to emergency service crews arriving and police are keen to speak to them, as they believe they could assist with their investigation. 
 
At around 11.40pm on Saturday 1 July, a black Vauxhall Zafira was travelling along Station Road, Halfway towards Killamarsh, when it collided with fencing and left the carriageway.
 
A 25-year-old man inside the car, Karl Marsden, suffered fatal injuries and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. 
 
A 31-year-old man inside the Zafira suffered serious injuries. He has been released from hospital and is recovering at home. 
 
Two men, aged 31 and 25-years-old, have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and were released under investigation as enquiries continue.

Officers investigating a fatal collision on Sheffield Parkway on Saturday 8 July, are appealing for witnesses and further information. 
 
At around 8pm a grey Skoda Fabia was travelling along the Parkway, out of the city, when it was reported to have crossed onto the opposite side of the carriageway and collided with a silver Honda Jazz. 
 
The collision happened close to the turn off for the Parkway Markets. 
 
A passenger in the Honda, an 88-year-old woman, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene following the collision. Her family are receiving support from specialist officers. 
 
Two women, aged 71 and 74, who were also passengers in the Honda, were taken to hospital with serious injuries. 
 
The driver of the Honda, a 73-year-old man, was also taken to hospital with serious injuries. They all currently remain in serious but stable conditions. 
 
A 40-year-old man, who was driving the Skoda, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. 
 
Officers are appealing for any witnesses who saw the collision, or who saw either of the cars prior to the collision, to report it to police.

Police are asking witnesses to come forward, following a fatal collision on Sheffield Parkway over the weekend. 
 
Just after 8pm on Saturday 8 July, a grey Skoda Fabia was travelling along the Parkway out of the city when it was reported to have crossed onto the opposite side of the carriageway and was in collision with a silver Honda Jazz. 
 
The collision happened close to the turn off for the Parkway Markets. 
 
A passenger in the Honda, an 88-year-old woman, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene following the collision. Her family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers. 
 
Two women, aged 71 and 74, who were also passengers in the Honda, were taken to hospital with suspected serious injuries. 
 
The 71-year-old woman’s condition is described as critical but stable condition while the 74-year-old woman is in a serious but stable condition. 
 
The driver of the Honda, a 73-year-old man, was also taken to hospital with serious injuries. He currently remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition. 
 
A 40-year-old man who was driving the Skoda, also remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition. 
 
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, or who saw either of the vehicles prior to the collision occurring.
