Swinton collision – were you a witness?

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a serious collision in the Swinton area of Rotherham earlier this week.

At around 7.15pm on Monday 6 November, it is reported that a light-coloured car, believed to be a Vauxhall Vectra, was involved in a collision with two pedestrians.

The pedestrians, a man and a woman, are believed to have been walking along Piccadilly Road, Swinton, between Valley Road and Kew Court.

The 33-year-old woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The 36-year-old man suffered slight injuries.

At this time, the car has not been traced and officers are keen to hear from anyone who may hold information about this incident.
