Should I call 101?

During a day, we receive approximately 2000 calls via 101. Only half of these calls are to report an incident, with the other half of these calls asking for an update on investigations, requests for a specific department or general advice. These calls have an impact on demand and can delay people getting through to report an incident.

You can also find the answers to a number of questions on Ask the Police website.

If you are still unable to find the answer to your question, you can either call us on 101 or email us at enquiries@southyorks.pnn.police.uk

If you are reporting an emergency always, call 999.
