The man who was injured in the collision in Rotherham on Saturday 21 July has sadly died.
He was a passenger in a black Landrover Freelander, which was travelling along Bawtry Road, Rotherham, towards the junction with Centenary Way around 12.45am. It was reported the car left the road and collided with a tree.
The 24-year-old man was taken to hospital and was in a critical condition, but sadly died yesterday (Sunday 22 July).
Police are continuing to investigate the collision, and ask anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who saw the car prior to the collision to call 101 quoting incident number 48 of 21 July 2018.
