Man dies following Sheffield collision

A 57-year-old man who suffered life-threatening injuries following a collision in Sheffield earlier this month has sadly died in hospital.

At around 10.35am on Monday 14 January, it is reported that an ambulance travelling along Burngreave Road, Pitsmoor, was involved in a collision with a pedestrian close to the junction with Abbeyfield Road.

The pedestrian, a 57-year-old man, suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital where he sadly died on Friday 25 January.

His family has been notified and they are receiving support from specialist officers.

Police continue to appeal for witnesses to the collision to get in touch.
