Pedestrians seriously injured in Sheffield collision

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Sheffield last night (Friday 1 March), in which two pedestrians suffered serious injuries.

At around 10.50pm, emergency services were called to Attercliffe Common, Sheffield, following reports that a blue Audi Q3 and two pedestrians had been involved in a collision, between the Premier Inn and the Ibis.

The two pedestrians, 46-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man, were taken to hospital with serious injuries where they remain.

The driver of the Audi was not injured and has been voluntarily interviewed under caution in connection with the incident.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have been travelling in the Attercliffe Common area last night and may have witnessed the collision, especially any motorists who may hold dashcam footage.
