South Yorkshire Police rated good in latest HMIC inspection

A report issued today by Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services (HMICFRS) rated South Yorkshire Police as good overall.

The report, which looked at the effectiveness of the Force, said that South Yorkshire Police is good at keeping people safe and reducing crime.

The Force has also been rated good at preventing, reducing and investigating crime, as well as tackling anti-social behaviour and reducing re-offending.
