Two men charged in connection to Barnsley burglaries

Two men have been charged and remanded into custody following two burglaries in Barnsley.

In the early hours of Monday 30 April, a house in Windmill Road, Wombwell was broken into and the house searched. Officers were called and detained a man inside the address.

Carl Corker, 46, of Mount Pleasant Road, Rotherham, has been charged in connection with the incident. He has been remanded into custody to appear before Sheffield Crown Court on Tuesday 29 May.

On the same day, Argos on Peel Street in the town centre was broken into and several watches stolen.

Paul Samuel Osbourne, 25, of Holme Court, Goldthorpe, has been charged in connection to the incident. He has been remanded to appear before Sheffield Crown Court on Monday 28 May.
