Man charged for possession of class A drugs following routine vehicle stop

A 31-year-old man has been charged with possession with intent to supply after being stopped by officers from Sheffield’s proactive policing team. 

At 12:55pm it is reported that officers stopped a vehicle off Rockingham Street after the vehicle initially failed to stop. The driver was detained and a search was conducted. 

The search recovered over £3000 of class A drugs. 

Osman Bakri, of Flockton Court, Sheffield, has been charged with possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine. 

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Sheffield Magistrate’s Court on Saturday 17 August 2019.
