Police appeal for witnesses following robbery in Kiveton Park

Police are appealing for information following an attempted armed robbery in Wales Road, Kiveton Park.

It is reported that on Tuesday 8 September at around 2 am, a man was walking in Wales Road when he was approached by four men in a dark coloured VW Golf. It is reported the men then threatened the victim with a machete and demanded he hand over his phone and money.

The victim managed to flee into a nearby address.

Police attended the scene and two men aged 38 and 19, and two boys, both aged 17, were arrested on suspicion of robbery. They have since been bailed.
Police are now asking for anyone with information about what happened to come forward.
