Man arrested in connection to firearms discharges in Sheffield

A 27 year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder this morning (11 January) in connection to two firearms discharges in Sheffield last week.

On 6 January around 8pm it is reported that shots were fired at a property on Castledale Croft on the Manor. A 42 year-old woman and a 23 year-old man were inside the property and suffered minor injuries.

Shortly afterwards, we received reports of a second gunshot discharge on Prince of Wales Road.

Detectives are still progressing the investigation and are still keen to hear from anyone with information or dash-cam footage.
