CCTV appeal after theft at Sheffield Tesco cashpoint
Date published: 27 July 2021 13:30Officers in Sheffield have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an incident at a cash machine.
It is reported that on Sunday 18 July at about 12.50pm, the victim withdrew money from the cash machine at the Tesco store on Savile Street. He walked away without taking the cash, believing the machine had not worked. As he walked away, the cash came out of the dispenser and another man, next in line, approached the machine and took the cash.
Enquiries are ongoing but officers are keen to identify the man in the image as he may be able to assist with enquiries.
Do you recognise him? He is described as black, aged possibly in his 30s, of slim-to-average build and approximately 5ft 9ins tall. He had short black hair and was wearing a face mask.
