Officers appeal for dash cam footage and witnesses following road traffic collision

Roads Policing Officers are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a collision in Barnsley.

Yesterday (Tuesday 23 November) at 3:50pm officers responded to reports of a single vehicle road traffic collision on Billingley Lane.

It is believed that the driver of a grey Skoda Fabia lost control of their vehicle on a bend.

The driver of the car, a 25 year-old woman, suffered injuries to her pelvis and ankle. Her passengers, a 72 year-old woman, and two girls aged three and two were also injured.

The 72 year-old woman remains in hospital with spine and head injuries. The two-year-old girl suffered injuries to her face and skull, and the three-year-old girl suffered minor injuries.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the car prior to the collision, or who may have dash cam footage of the car.
