Officers in Sheffield have today (19 September) made an arrest in connection to a series of incidents in which two teenage boys were stabbed.
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of assault.
Police were called at around 3.30pm on Friday 17 September to reports of a disturbance around the Sicey Avenue area of Sheffield. Officers attended and discovered a 14-year-old boy with stab wounds to his hand and leg. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A short time later, a second 15-year-old boy sought treatment for stab wounds to his arm and leg. He has since been discharged from hospital.
An investigation has been launched.
