Police appeal for information after man stabbed in Sheffield

Police are asking for anyone with information to come forward following an incident in which a man was stabbed in West Street in the early hours of this morning (25 September).

Police were called at around 5:24am to reports that a man had been stabbed. Officers attended the scene and discovered a man in his 20s with a stab wound to his leg. He was taken to hospital via ambulance where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

An investigation is underway and officers are keen to speak to anyone who may hold information about what happened.
