Officers are helping a Barnsley couple who were victims of a burglary find sentimental items taken during the incident.

On Wednesday 26 April, officers were called to a property on Roman Road following reports of a burglary that had taken place while the victims were at work.

A significant quantity of valuable and sentimental items were taken during the burglary, including a Breitling Superocean watch with the serial number 2416157 and a diamond engagement ring, both of which have immense sentimental value.

In addition to the watch and ring, it is believed that an iPad Air with the serial number DMRLPFG7FK11, a diamond Gucci watch, an Amanda Michael Kors white watch, and a Links of London bracelet, were among the other items of jewellery and cash taken.

Officers now want to hear from anyone who may hold information about those responsible for the burglary, or from anyone who may have been seen these items being offered for sale in person or online. If you have any information, please report online, by live chat or by calling 101 quoting incident number 616 of 26 April 2023.
