Barnsley restaurant broken into – can you help?

Officers in Barnsley are asking witnesses to come forward after a restaurant in the Stairfoot area was broken into.

At around 3.15am on Saturday 24 March, offenders unknown have broken into Frankie and Benny’s on Doncaster Road, causing damage to the main entrance and one window.

The cash draw was taken from the till, which has since been found by officers on the Trans Pennine Trail.

Officers are treating this incident as linked to two other occasions in which the restaurant was broken into, once last month in which cash and an iPad was stolen and also in October last year, when offenders broke in and stole a quantity of cash.
