Ten-year-old boy left seriously injured following Sheffield collision

Officers are appealing for witnesses following a collision yesterday afternoon (Monday, 27 August), in which a child suffered a serious head injury.

At around 4.05pm, it is reported that a 10-year-old boy was riding a toy scooter on the pavement along Masters Road when he crossed the road and was involved in a collision with a white Vauxhall Corsa, travelling towards Longley Park. The collision happened close to the junction with Masters Crescent.

The boy was taken to hospital to be treated for a serious head injury. He currently remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

A 22-year-old woman driving the Corsa was not injured.
