Sheffield street robbery: E-fit released

Police in Sheffield have released an Efit of boy they want to speak to in connection to a street robbery.

At around 7.25pm on Saturday 2 June, it was reported that a 15-year-old boy was walking through Hillsborough Park when he was approached by two unknown teenage boys.

It was reported that when the victim refused to lend them his phone, he was followed to Owlerton Green when the two boys threatened the victim and took his phone from him.

The suspects then threw the boy to the floor and stole a chain from around his neck.

One of the suspects ran off with the chain. The victim chased the second offender who threw the phone back to him.

The victim has only been able to provide an Efit for one of the offenders who is described as around 14-years-old, around 5ft 3ins, of skinny build. He was wearing a black and red hat with the word ‘weed’ written across it, dark jeans and a black, shiny jacket with a square pattern on it.

The second offender is described as around 16-years-old, Asian, around 5ft 7ins of average build with black swept-over hair and a moustache. He was wearing light blue jeans and a white shirt.
