Did you see a collision and assault in Rotherham?

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of assault following an incident in the Maltby area of Rotherham.

A 34-year-old, 35-year-old and 38-year-old, all from the Maltby area, were arrested on Sunday (3 June) following the incident on Saturday 2 June.

They have been bailed pending further enquiries.

At around 1.50pm on Saturday 2 June, officers received reports that a 22-year-old man had been involved in a collision with a red Transit van on Brow Hill Road.

It was reported that two men got out of the van and assaulted the 22-year-old before getting back in the van and leaving the scene.

The man was taken to hospital but has since been released.

Officers are now asking anyone who saw the incident or has information about the location of the red van to contact 101 quoting incident 530 of 2 June 2018.
