Officers have released an e-fit as part of an investigation into a sexual assault in Sheffield.

At around 1.30am on Saturday 19 May, officers received reports that an 18-year-old woman had been assaulted on a grassed area off Eleanor Street in Darnall.

The 18-year-old woman was walking home when an unknown man approached her and asked her for money.

The offender is then said to have grabbed the teenager in the groin area but fled the scene when she kicked him.

The victim was not injured but was understandably shaken up by the incident. She continues to be supported by officers.

Since the incident was reported, officers have carried out house-to-house enquiries and reviewed CCTV in the area and have now worked with the victim to produce this e-fit image, in a bid to trace the offender.

The man is described as being in his late 20s, of a muscular build and between 6-6ft 3ins tall.

Where you in the area at the time? Did you see or hear something suspicious? Do you recognise the man in the e-fit?
