Witnesses sought to Dunsville Quarry Park assault

Officers are asking for your help after a 23-year-old man was assaulted by a group of teenagers in Doncaster’s Quarry Park.

At around 6.30pm on Thursday 26 April, the man and two of his friends were walking through Quarry Park, just off Greens Road, when they were approached by a group of between six to 10 teenage boys.

The victim, who was pushing his BMX bike, was assaulted by the group, who hit him on the back of the head and caused cuts and bruises to his face.

The group took the victim’s bike, which has since been recovered and returned to him.
They are described as aged between 15-18 and were all wearing tracksuit bottoms and either sweatshirts or t-shirts.

Police want to hear from anyone who was walking in the area and who saw what happened, or who may know those involved.
