A 35-year-old motorcyclist is currently in hospital following a collision in Sheffield at 5.13pm on Tuesday 17 September.
The man was reportedly travelling along Stopes Road towards Stannington on a Yamaha motorbike.
It is believed that the motorbike has veered onto the wrong side of the road and collided with a red Mini Cooper that was travelling out of Stannington.
The motorcyclist was taken to Northern General Hospital by ambulance, where he remains in a serious but stable condition. The driver of the Mini Cooper was taken to hospital by ambulance and later discharge but requires ongoing treatment to his injuries.
Officers are asking any witnesses to contact them, as well as anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage of Stopes Road at around the time of the incident.
