Sheffield officers have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify in connection with a public order offence.

At 7.40pm on 13 March, the woman was walking along Division Street close to Café Nero when a man became aggressive and started shouting at her. He is alleged to have made threatening remarks of a sexual nature, before following her to Devonshire Green.

Prior to this, the man is said to have been shouting at passers-by while standing outside Café Nero on Division Street for around two hours.

He is described as being in his mid-thirties, stocky and wearing blue jeans with a grey hoody.

PC Samantha Frain, investigating said: “This was understandably a very distressing incident for the woman involved and we are keen to speak to the man pictured as part of our ongoing enquiries.

“If you recognise him, or saw him in Division Street that evening, please contact us on 101. The incident number is 285 of 14 March.”
