Doncaster has taken an important step towards the introduction of the Best Bar None scheme with the town’s application stage underway.

Best Bar None is an accreditation scheme with national awards supported by the Home Office and the drinks industry, aimed primarily at promoting responsible management and operation of alcohol-licensed premises.

There will now be a process of accreditation with the actual scheme being launched during Alcohol Awareness Week in November.
