Man charged with murder of Barnsley woman

Detectives investigating the murder of Barnsley woman Jill Hibberd, have today, Sunday 3 June, charged 40-year-old Lee Trevor Fueloep, of Willow Garth in Wombwell, with murder and burglary. Jill, 73, was found at her Roy Kilner Road home at 7.45am on Thursday 31 May. A post mortem revealed she died of stab wounds.

Officers are appealing for sightings of Jill’s red Audi TT , registration YM17 SYJ, which was taken from the driveway of her home at 9pm on Wednesday 30 May, and remains outstanding. Fueloep remains in police custody and is due before Barnsley magistrates tomorrow morning.
