Controlled drugs and cash have been recovered as officers in Doncaster continue to focus on disrupting organised crime in the Mexborough area.
Yesterday (Tuesday 23 April) officers executed two warrants at addresses in Mexborough and Denaby, where cannabis and cash were found.
District Commander for Doncaster, Chief Superintendent Shaun Morley, said: “We hope the work being carried out will send a clear message that organised crime will not be tolerated in Doncaster.
“Criminal and antisocial behaviour is having a negative impact on this community and we are committed to stamping it out.”
Chief Supt Morley also urged anyone living in Mexborough with concerns to report them via the local neighbourhood policing team, by calling 101 or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
He added: “To be truly successful in tackling this behaviour we need help from the community.
“I would urge anyone with concerns or information to contact us and help us to get these people off the streets.”
