As enquiries continue into the death of 38-year-old Alena Grlakova, officers have released reconstruction footage, showing her last known movements on Boxing Day 2018.
A murder inquiry was launched when Alena’s body was found in land just off Taylors Lane on Monday 8 April.
The footage shows Alena’s movements between some of the local pubs in the area from just after 6.30pm to 8.45pm on the night of Wednesday 26 December.
It also shows clothing identical to that she was last seen wearing; a thin black sweatshirt with ‘Little Black Sweat’ written on it in white, black tracksuit bottoms with white stripes down the side, white socks and black flip-flops/sliders.
Detectives investigating remain keen to hear from anyone who saw Alena that evening. The footage shows where she went and at what time – did you see her? Did she speak to you? It is vital we know where Alena went afterwards and who she saw.
The clothing she was wearing has not yet been found. The outfit is quite distinctive and the footwear unusual for the time of year. Have you seen it or any of the other clothing items discarded in the local area?
Any information, no matter how small, could greatly assist the inquiry.
